The 2019 Iowa Passenger Transportation Summit will again be held at the FFA Enrichment Center on the DMACC Campus in Ankeny, Iowa. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. (registration opens at 9:00 a.m.) and will end at 3:15 p.m.
Speaking on the topic of Measuring the Benefits of Transit Services, Jeremy Mattson, PhD of North Dakota State University will serve as this year's keynote speaker. Participants also will hear about the Iowa DOT's effort to update the Iowa Public Transit Long-Range Plan. Other topics and panels include Passenger Transportation Partnerships, Identifying Transportation Needs, Technology Use with Passenger Transportation, and an opportunity for input into the Iowa DOT Public Transit Long-Range Plan.
